Meet the artist:
Katy Kafantaris
An award-winning artist, Katy Kafantaris has been working as an Illustrator, Graphics and Web Designer in the Cleveland area for the past 20 years. After attending Cleveland State University and having dabbled in virtually every form of medium, she eventually phased into computer illustration. Katy owns her own business, Myriad Design Works, where she does everything from illustration, photo manipulation and restoration, graphics, and web design for various clients and is currently a subcontractor for NASA Glenn Research Center (her main client). As Katydid Studios, Katy designs art glass beads, fused glass, jewelry, stained glass mosaics, custom caricatures, and greeting cards. You will see a wide variety of work here from favorite digital creations to personal art works. In her free time, Katy enjoys music and playing the flute, hiking, nature, kayaking, lighthouses (and anything nautical), photography, and vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
